BRAZOS BOWLERS IN GOOD STANDING WITH TWO WEEKS TO GO

It was another good weekend of bowling for area bowlers. In team-div. 2, Brazos Valley Auto #2 moved into 2nd place with a 3029 score. Brazos Valley Auto #1 is in 6th place in team div. 3 with a 2841 score. Five of a kind is in 3rd place in team div. 5 with a 2691 score. In doubles, div. 2, kevin dube and gordon wilhelm took over 4th spot with a 1323 score. In doubles div 3, james johnson and jennifer van way are in 2nd place with a 1294, collin yeager/greg burkhalter in 3rd with 1260, and walter winkelman/mike greig are in 4th pace with 1249. In div. 4 doubles, wendall watkins/dennis kubeczka are in the top spot with a 1266 score. The webmaster himself took top honors with a 11 in a row 290 game. In div. 5 doubles, jack/linda perrone are in 3rd place with a 1116 score, and in 6th place is denise still/brett hale with a 1112 score. In div 4 singles, tye dorn holds on to the top spot with a 681 score. In all events, div. 2, danny keeling is in 3rd spot with a great 2105 score, and wendall watkins is in 7th spot with 2024 score. In div. 5 all events, joe graves is in 3rd spot with a 1708 score.

BRAZOS VALLEY YOUTH HEAD TO LONVIEW FOR TOURNAMENT

the texas state usbc youth tournament will be held in longview this year, some are bowling june 13/14th, and some on june 27/28. will post names and scores as they come in.

Strikes wanted is in 13 place in div 5 team with a 2541 score, doubles div. 3- kathy and bobby seaton are in 9th pace with 1209, in div 4 doubles- joe graves/darrell frances are in 9th place with 1187, danny keeling is in 17 place in div 2 singles with 689, bobby martinez is in 15th place in div 4 singles with 624, benjamin bequette is in 16th place in div 4 singles with 623, jennifer vanway is in 16th place in div 4 all events with 1778, brett hale is in 13th place in div 5 all events with 1641 and garrett dorn is in 14th place with 1638.

We will be making some changes to our web site soon. Under noteable scores, we will be adding a sub page for the 2007-08 average book so you can look up averags for all the bowlers in the Brazos Valley USBC. Also, a sub page for Honor Scores. It will have a place for a picture of the bowler, name, date bowled and league or tournament bowled in. We are working on being able to post league standing sheets to our web site, but it is not complete yet. If you have any other ideas, please pass them on to me.
