Sunday Doubles are rolling again!
|
Well Brazos Valley. Fall is here and not only does it mean cooler temperatures, but it also means the Sunday No-tap Doubles are back too! If you haven’t come out and bowled in one, you don’t know what you’re missing! For those of you who have never bowled in a 9 pin no-tap format, how it works can be summed up pretty easily in one sentence. You bowl as you would normally, however if you knock down 9 pins on your first ball it counts as a strike! No more shooting at that blasted 10 pin! Not only that but there are strike pot drawings, as well as a super strike pot or two at the end of the night. Oh, and don’t forget the crossover doubles, which allows you to combine your scores with the scores of any other person bowling which could double your chance of placing at the end of the night! Sunday night doubles are held on the last Sunday night of the month, and is a great way to get out there and meet fellow bowlers from the area! Bring a partner or bring yourself (and your equipment of course!) Sign up starts at 6:30 pm at the front desk inside Grand Station Entertainment. We hope to see you there!
