                            AWARDS FOR 2009-2010 SEASON

Some new awards for the 2009-2010 season are on the way.  A pair of bowling shoe bags will be awarded for any game 100 pins over average, and a accessory bag will be awarded for any series 150 pins over avg.  We will have a display set up at Grand Station soon.  The rules are as follows to qualify for an award.  Bowlers with a 2008-09 bvusbc avg. (no summer avg.) will use there highest avg. for the first 21 games of the new season, after 21 games, there current avg. in the league the score was bowled in will be used.  For new bowlers, or bowlers without a last years bvusbc avg. there current 21 game avg. in the league the score was bowled in will be used.  If the score was bowled before a 21 game avg. is established, if they still qualify after the 21 game avg. is established, the award will still be presented. These are super nice awards that Grand Station and your local Brazos Valley USBC Association are giving out.  If it goes well, we will look at expanding it more next season.
